Problem solved!

Our clients had an indoor grill space next to their dining room fireplace that they never used.  Additionally they needed a space for placing a laptop and paying bills.
After much discussion we worked with them to develop a small secretary type box that matched their kitchen cabinetry and allowed for a work surface.

The laptop stores in the lower drawer that doubles as a work surface.  Hanging files and additional storage in the bigger upper drawer.  Shelf space for one of their many beautiful art opbjects on top.
